Okopako Lodge rates – per person per night
- Group/Family bookings require a (non-refundable*) deposit of the equivalent of one night’s accommodation costs. During peak season all bookings require a deposit.
- Additional towels can be hired for $2 per towel.
- Laundry facilities are available, including washing powder, for $5 per load.
- Seasonal organic produce may be available to purchase. Please enquire at the Lodge office.
- There will be a $5 per stay charge for each dog (or other pet). During peak season we reserve the right to decline pets as the number of guests staying may mean it’s not suitable for dogs to be around the Lodge. Dogs cannot be inside the Lodge or cabins. There is a large, covered deck around the Lodge and small decks on the cabins where dogs can sleep/be tied up or in their crates.

Self-contained Campervans/RVs – no use of facilities
There is the option of unpowered parking sites (with no use of facilities) for fully self-contained campervans/RVs. Please ask for directions to the RV Park when you book as this has different entrance than the Lodge.

Refuse & Recycling
We recycle as much as possible and provide guests with bins to dispose of rubbish responsibly. Food waste is recycled in the worm farm and compost.
Guests will be charged a disposal charge of $50 if excessive amounts of rubbish and unsorted recycling are left behind when you leave.
Guests can dispose of excess rubbish and recycling at the Opononi Refuse Transfer Station, which is located halfway between Opononi and Omapere (behind the Bowling Club).
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible and no later than 6 pm on the day prior to the day of arrival.
Group bookings must be cancelled at least one week prior to the reservation.
